32GB KingSpec 1.8" ZIF 44-pin SSD Solid State Disk (MLC)
Item Number: 11467 Mfr. PN: KSD-ZF18.1-032MJ

I just got this SSD for my Acer Aspite One netbook. I am using the same ZIF cable that was used in the netbook. It goes into the KingSpec SSD but not freely. Not detected in the BIOS. not sure what else I can try? is stock ZIF cable ok to use?

I would recommend checking that you have the latest BIOS update installed and a second ZIF cable is next. Then rechecking the BIOS

I hade to thin out my cabel with a knife. On the plastik side on the drive end of the cabel . Try to connect the drive in both direction. Flip it around and test. The cabel i have is a flipt one and my stock aspire one cabel. I have 3309 bios
